The space shuttle Atlantis landed in California safely today after bad weather delayed for two days its scheduled completion of a mission to the International Space Station.
The 11-day mission to install a laboratory for the space station was prolonged to 13 after the shuttle was prevented by heavy cloud from landing at Cape Canaveral in Florida.
