A call for a referendum on Ireland's decision to join Partnership for Peace will be one of the prominent planks in the Socialist Party's campaign for the European election, the party's TD, Mr Joe Higgins, said yesterday.
Mr Higgins was speaking as his party announced it would be running nine candidates in the local elections, and that he would contest the European elections in Dublin.
