Time is running out for science students wishing to compete in an international writing award sponsored by Zeneca. Third-level students in full-time education are asked to submit an essay detailing their recent research in chemistry, materials science, healthcare, the environment, energy, food agriculture or biology. First prize is £1,000 and there are two other cash prizes. The closing date for submissions is April 30th and essays should be sent to The Editor, Chemistry & Industry, 15 Belgrave Square, London SW1X 8PS.
