Police have raided eight premises across the North in an investigation into the collapse of a firm of solicitors.

Documents and computer equipment are being examined by members of the Fraud Unit after the searches in Belfast, Antrim, Larne, Saintfield, Omamagh and Ballinamalla.

The ongoing investigation relates to the collapse of a solicitors firm. The matter had been referred to police by the Law Society. No arrests have been made, a PSNI spokeswoman said.
