The Six Nations committee today announced April 29th as the provisional date for Wales and Ireland to play their postponed Championship fixture.

Tournament organisers have also announced May 5th, 6th, 12th and 13th as further provisional dates in the event of any more Six Nations postponements.

The Wales v Ireland game, which should have taken place in Cardiff tomorrow, was called off on Tuesday as the foot and mouth outbreak took hold.

Despite the epidemic though, Six Nations chiefs are committed to concluding the Championship, and will continue to monitor the situation.
