Police in Northern Ireland have appealed for witnesses to a collision between a stolen car and a taxi last night.

Police in Northern Ireland have appealed for witnesses to a collision between a stolen car and a taxi last night.

The stolen Hyundai hit the taxi on the Belfast road at Lisburn.

One man was taken to hospital with neck and spinal injuries.  Four other people taken to hospital were not seriously injured.

Two men were arrested, one on suspicion of dangerous driving and other offences, the second on suspicion of allowing himself to be carried in a stolen car.

The PSNI asked anyone with information or who may have witnessed the crash to come forward.
