The bookies’ odds have shortened on a white Christmas in Dublin, with Ladbrokes yesterday cutting the Dublin odds from 4/1 to 5/2.
Dublin is the shortest- priced city in the country, followed by Belfast at 7/2, Cork at 6/1 and Galway at 7/1.
The bookmaker reported that the first major snowfall in London this week had brought a wave of bets on a white Christmas in the English capital.
