Employment in private firms in the construction industry decreased by 4.2 per cent in the 12 months between May 2001 and May 2002.
The monthly employment index decreased from 143.0 in May 2001 to 137.0 in 2002.
Employment decreased by 3.7 per cent in the twelve months between April 2001 and April 2002.
