A male pedestrian in his thirties was killed after he was struck by a vehicle in Dún Laoghaire shortly after lunch time.
The fatal road crash occurred on Kill Avenue in Dun Laoghaire at around 2.15pm after the man was struck by a car.
The road was closed for a time today as Garda forensic collision investigators carried out an examination of the scene of the crash.
