GardaI have not issued the name of a man killed by a train on the Dublin to Cork line on Tuesday. The accident happened at about 8 p.m. at Thomastown level-crossing near Kilmallock, Co Limerick, when the man in his 30s was struck by the 19.15 Cork-Dublin train. He was taken to the Mid-Western Regional Hospital, where a post-mortem examination was carried out yesterday.
