A man was being questioned by police tonight following a serious sexual assault on a teenage girl in Derry.
The attack on a 16-year-old girl happened in the Bogside area of the city early this morning.
The traumatised girl was later picked up by a taxi driver at around 4.30 a.m. and taken to an address in the Kylemore Park area.
Detectives at Strand Road police station are urging the taxi driver to get in touch with them.

They said the girl was so shocked she was unable to say where the attack took place.
