Paris - A wealthy Parisian man has been arrested for slicing up his mother's corpse in her plush Left Bank apartment and beginning to drop her piece by piece into the river Seine, judicial sources said yesterday. The 60-year-old faces charges of "mistreatment of a vulnerable person leading to her death, damaging the integrity of a corpse and fraud".
He is said to have killed the 92-year-old woman and cut up her body while continuing to claim her pension.
