Longford Town progressed to the semi-finals of the eircom League Cup tonight with a 2-0 victory over Dublin City at Flancare Park this evening.
Goals in either half secured the victory for the home side. Shane Barrett put Longford ahead after 32 minutes and Barry Ferguson converted a penalty on 65 minutes.
