Mexico City - Latin American leaders gathered in Mexico yesterday for a two-day summit to seek a common strategy for confronting economic turmoil and to prepare for talks with the EU in Rio de Janeiro in June.
The summit of the Group of Rio will provide a new opportunity "to face the global challenges we are experiencing," Uruguayan President Julio Sanguinetti said.
