A hotel booking firm that employs 55 people in Kerry is to seek a listing on the London Alternative Investment Market (AIM) in an effort to raise €65 million.

CNG, based in Kenmare, distributes hotel room nights to travel agents and consumers with an emphasis on the $35-billion US corporate hotel market.

It plans to use the AIM listing to raise additional working capital to increase sales and marketing initiatives, increase revenue and to fund the global rollout of the company's software.

"CNG is ideally positioned to benefit from the rapid changes taking place in the hotel room distribution market," according to Mr Finbarr Power, CNG's chief executive.
