Jedward twins enter 'Celebrity Big Brother'

SINGER TWINS Jedward last night entered the Celebrity Big Brotherhouse as the new series of the reality television show began.

John and Edward Grimes wore matching tiger stripe coats and kept their trademark quiffs as they entered the house in Elstree, Hertfordshire, England.

Among the “housemates” joining the brothers were Kerry Katona, the ex-wife of former Westlife member Brian McFadden; Sally Bercow, the wife of the British house of commons speaker John Bercow; and US actor Tara Reid.

The former Eurovision entrants are not the only Irish stars of the Channel 5 programme, which is being presented by former Big Brotherwinner and Kildare native Brian Dowling.

Irish Traveller Paddy Doherty, known for his appearance on Channel 4 reality television programme Big Fat Gypsy Wedding, also entered the house.

Dowling replaced previous host Davina McCall, who presented the programme on Channel 4 before the switch to Channel 5.

Channel 4 dropped Big Brotherlast year after 11 series of the main show and a number of celebrity versions.

Others entering the house were reality star Amy Childs, male model Bobby Sabel and actor Lucien Laviscount.
