The HSE Southern Area is investigating the circumstances of an ambulance call-out in Kerry in October.
A 48-year-old man living on his own was found dead some hours after an ambulance called to his locality.
The man made a 999 call early on the morning of October 6th. The ambulance was dispatched and called to a house nearby. It is not yet known if it also called to the man's house.
The investigation will seek to establish the address the man gave and what address the ambulance went to.
