The number of induced births in the eastern region looks set to rise again, according to a report in the Irish Medical Times.

The number of induced births in the eastern region looks set to rise again, according to a report in the Irish Medical Times.

Statistics show that up to the end of May there were 2,412 induced births in the Coombe, Rotunda and Holles Street. The total for last year was 5,079; in 1998 it was 4,446 and in 1997 it was 4,355.
