A blue van is being sought by gardai investigating a fatal hit-and-run collision in Co Meath last night.
In a statement, gardai said they would like to speak to the driver of a blue van that was seen in the area at the time of the crash and have also said they wish to speak to anyone who noticed fresh damage to such a vehicle.
Mr Desmond Kellett (34), with an address at Closker Park, Navan, Co Meath was killed in the crash. His 18-year-old companion was treated in Our Lady's Hospital in Navan but later discharged.
