Weapons, ammunition and explosive material were discovered by gardaí during a search at an apartment complex in Dublin yesterday afternoon.
Gardaí called the Army bomb disposal team to examine the find at an outbuilding of Distillery Loft Apartments on Distillery Road, Drumcondra.
The team made safe the grenade and explosive components. Gardaí have removed all of the items for forensic examination.
