A community Garda was attacked yesterday in Fatima Mansions in Dublin. A Garda spokesman said he was searching a gang of youths on St Anthony's Road, under the Misuse of Drugs Act.
One of the youths attacked the garda after he found a package during the search, and a number of other joined in. Afterwards a 26-year-old man was arrested and brought to Kilmainham Garda station.
