Hobart - British tourists were on board a bus which crashed down a mountain in Tasmania yesterday, killing four on board and injuring 14 others. The coach was carrying 18 people, mostly tourists from Britain, the US, New Zealand and Australia, the Australian Associated Press reported.
The accident happened on Cradle Mountain when the bus - which was on a night tour, stopped to let another vehicle pass and rolled down a steep bank, coming to rest 35 yards from the road. Of the injured, one was critical and two were in a serious condition, police said.
