"You're not required to take any bike training in this country," said Dave Lyons on the Motorcycle Rider Training Group stand, "but it's so import- ant for safe riding, especially since the roads are so bad."

Bikers will not be disappointed with this year's impressive display of machines. Factory fresh releases include the Yamaha MT- 01, a muscular and powerful bike with a big retro style cc twin engine. The stylish MV Agusta M4 Tamburrini, only 300 of which have been built, will be on show for the first time in Ireland.
