Dun Laoghaire/Rathdown Fine Gael TD Mr Sean Barrett has called on the Minister for the Environment, Mr Dempsey, "to put a stop to plans for the destruction of Leopardstown Racecourse.
"The idea that Leopardstown Racecourse, which has been in existence since 1882, could now be destroyed by the building of a major motorway is nothing short of scandalous, particularly as there are other alternative routes available."
