A Co Meath man has been given a two-year sentence for sexually assaulting his daughter almost 10 years ago.
The man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, admitted three sample charges of sexually assaulting his daughter on dates from 1991 to 1993 at two locations. The court heard the girl was around 13 when the assaults occurred. The final year of the sentence was suspended.
