Gardai are investigating the stabbing of a man who died early yesterday morning. Mr Bernard Smyth (45), of St Patrick's Villas, Dublin, died two days after being stabbed in Bath Street, Irishtown.
He was admitted to St Vincent's Hospital. A post-mortem was carried out yesterday.
