Yeats the Love-Poet is the title of a lecture by Bernard O'Donoghue, Fellow of Wadham College, Oxford to be held on Friday March 18th at 2.30pm in Boole Lecture Theatre 2, University College Cork . Admissison is free and all are welcome.

Wet Lab seminar at DCU

The National Institute of Cellular Biotechnology (NICB) at Dublin City University is hosting a Wet Lab course and seminar series. The wet lab course, which is being held in Europe for the first time, will involve a hands-on technical application of siRNA and will provide a critical update on the latest developments in the field of RNAi, siRNA and microRNA.

Royal Irish Academy Oxygen Event

An evening of music, theatre history, science and ethical debate in the Royal Irish Academy, Dawson Street, Dublin from 6pm on Thursday, April 24th will also feature the screening of a play which explores the discovery of oxygen. World Voice Day

A practical voice workshop for teachers is being organised by speech and language therapists from the Mater Hospital, Dublin, on World Voice Day - April 16th.The focus will be on awareness and prevention of voice problems with input from a speech and language therapists, voice teacher and an Alexander Technique teacher.
