Irish entrepreneurs JP McManus and John Magnier have increased their share in Manchester United and now own almost a quarter of the club.
The duo control The Cubic Expression Company Limited and United's plc announced to the Stock Exchange this morning that the company had increased its holding of ordinary shares to 63,286,893 - approximately 24.24 per cent of the issue.
The Cubic Expression Company previously held 23.15 per cent after making a huge investment in early October which more than doubled their share from 11.4 per cent.
