Felice Gaer, Director of the New York-based Jacob Blaustein Institute for the Advancement of Human Rights and Vice-Chair of the UN Committee against Torture, will speak at a meeting organised by the ICCL and the Justice for Magdalenes group today from 2pm-4pm. The meeting takes place in the Radisson Blu Royal Hotel, Golden Lane, Dublin 8, and will discuss the impact of the UN committee against torture’s questioning of Ireland’s record on the Magdalenes and other issues a year ago.
