LONDON - Britain's ruling Conservatives appear to be clawing back some support after trailing badly behind the opposition Labour Party in public opinion polls for months, a new survey published yesterday showed. The latest Guardian ICM poll suggested the Conservatives were only 12 percentage points behind Labour, a narrowing of the gap by three points since July.
