MORONI - A general strike dosed down the Indian Ocean archipelago of Comoros yesterday as roadblocks were set up in the capital. Shops, markets and government offices remained shut after a call by the opposition for a one day general strike to protest against civil servants being unpaid for nearly 12 months.
