The High Court decided yesterday that an application by the Criminal Assets Bureau (CAB) for judgment for £2.95 million against a Dublin man should go to a full hearing.

CAB is seeking the order against Mr Matthew Kelly, of Ashington Gardens, Navan Road, Dublin. The defendant, who was declared a bankrupt in 1984, denies he owes the amount claimed and also denies he derived any of his income from criminal activity.
