Scotland Yard has appealed for information on a set of keys belonging to a lock up as police continue to search for over 150 lb of Semtex hidden by an IRA gang in south London.

Anti terrorist officers also requested information from any owner of a storage unit who may have been contacted by a man with a French, American or Irish accent between June 1st and July 15th.

"We are keen to hear from anyone who may have rented or sublet a lock up garage or similar premises this summer but only in the south London area," said a Scotland Yard spokeswoman.

Although anti terrorist officers have discovered the components for 36 bombs, which they believed were to be targeted at utility installations across London, they have so far failed to find the estimated 150 lb of Semtex required for this quantity of bombs.
