A great day, says Lord Alderdice

The Alliance leader, Lord Alderdice, described the striking of the agreement as a truly great day. The deal respected everyone's aspirations and protected everyone's rights. "This is a really good agreement but the work does not end here. We have had a solid foundation but now, through the referendum, the election to a new assembly, and the construction of the new institutions, we must commit ourselves to build peace."
