A haemophiliac has been awarded £300,000 damages by the Hepatitis C Compensation Tribunal, the second highest to date.

A haemophiliac has been awarded £300,000 damages by the Hepatitis C Compensation Tribunal, the second highest to date.

Yesterday Mr Raymond Bradley, of Malcomson Law, solicitors, said his client, who is in his late 30s, contracted the hepatitis C virus after having been treated with contaminated blood factor product when he was a teenager.
