The Rafter family – Paddy and Maura, their son Patrick and daughter Isabelle – will make their debut at the National Concert Hall in Dublin next Wednesday, at 8pm. Le père Rafter combines a singing career with training racehorses, while Maura runs the Kilkenny Academy of Music.
Patrick, now studying for his Leaving Cert, was chosen as Young Musician of the Year by the NCH for 2009, while Isabelle is pursuing a degree at the Royal Irish Academy of Music. No doubt we’ll be hearing a lot more from them.
