A site of just over three acres, originally part of the Inchicore CIE works in Dublin 8, has almost doubled in value in 12 months.

Apartment specialist, Zoe Developments, has paid £5.2 million for the site, which is zoned for residential use. It was sold by Stanley Macadam, which bought it in March, 1998, for £2.8 million. It has planning permission for 107 apartments, 37,000 sq ft of enterprise units and 3,500 sq ft of shopping space. The site was sold by tender through Redmond Auctioneers.
