Deco style lines with mirrored accents and chrome detailing abound in this 1930s South Hill property owned by fashion-turned-interior designer Carmel Carroll.

The stained glass in the stairwell was created by artist Bianca Devito of Devito Studios in Arklow (086 8471560). Prices start from €250 a sq ft. Devito's work is also on show at Indus, a restaurant in Drogheda and further afield at The Guest Palace in Oman, which has hosted dignitaries such as Tony Blair.

Devito Studios has also worked on major glass conservation projects including St Patrick's Cathedral Dublin, and Canterbury Cathedral.

Meanwhile the kitchen was designed and built by LA Kitchens in Glaslough, Co Monaghan (047-88214) and has a stone worktop by Pennywell in Limerick (061 416059). The oak wide plank engineered floors throughout are by Bearfoot Flooring (01-4567129) while the bathroom features House Of Mosaics (01-617 7950) tile from the Onix collection.
