You’ve got to check out Arnott’s Project, the new shop that has taken over what was the former Debenhams in the Jervis Street Centre. Very different from the mother ship, it has four floors of novel fashion, beauty, gifts and homewares aimed at a younger market.
Thus you can expect to find DJs in action, make-up artists on the prowl (this weekend, Joseph Hernandez from Elizabeth Arden is doling out advice) and a lot of pro-active demonstrations going on. At the shop’s official launch last night they had Lady Hawke, the music and style icon, strutting her stuff. The show (and the shop) must go on.
