L’Oréal Professional Silver Shampoo keeps my brassy and yellow tones at bay. It’s the modern-day blue rinse.

Clé de Peau concealer I have a propensity to have raccoon eyes if I don’t get enough sleep. I find this is fabulous for instantly lifting under-eye shadows. Clé de Peau is the luxury arm of Shiseido. It’s only available in the Far East or America so I stock up when I can.

Clinique Even Better Foundation I have always been very fond of my foundations. It’s the one product that I won’t go outside the house without. I find that this one hides dark patches or blemishes while still revealing natural-looking skin.

Cloon Keen Atelier Terre De L’Encens perfume It contains two of my favourite ingredients – iris and incense. We haven’t introduced it to the market yet, so it makes it all the more special that it’s all mine for the next couple of weeks.

How to fake it 'til you make it

YOU DON’T HAVE to wait for the holidays to get a healthy glow – bronzers can turn a dull complexion around with a sweep of a brush. The best multitasking bronzers are matte, or have a minimum of shimmer. Apply with a medium-sized powder brush – you’ll have more control than with the larger models. MAC’s 187 is perfect. Sweep plenty of powder onto the brush, then either tap sharply or dab the brush into a tissue to get rid of excess product. You now have a brush evenly distributed with product which you apply and blend with a light-handed approach. Where to put it? I favour the “3” method which gives a really natural result with a bit of contouring thrown in. Here’s how to do it: Imagine you’re drawing the number three along each side of your face with your brush. Start at your temple sweeping around to your cheekbone, then another sweep along the jawline.
