The best beaches: for walking, swimming, surfing, solitude etc

Summer Living wants to tell its readers about Ireland’s best beaches, but before we do, we’d like to ask your opinion.

We want to know readers’ views on which beaches are best for sandcastle-building or surfing, which offer the safest swimming, which ones will make walkers happy, and how we get to the beach that nobody else knows about (go on, share the love). We want to know about the best beachside bars and restaurants, where you can sunbathe without being disturbed, and which Irish beaches offer the best rockpools.

It may be your local beach or one you have visited recently. If it’s sandy, is beside the sea and has some other notable quality, let us know.
