The only way is up for Leeds native Paul Woolford. The DJ and producer has established himself as a name to be reckoned with, thanks to a rake of productions, remixes and storming club appearances. Releases for labels Planet E, Pokerflat, Phonica and his own Intimacy have spread the word about Woolford’s credentials, while the calibre of clients looking for Woolford’s remix services – from Depeche Mode to The Juan Maclean – speaks volumes about his talent for crafting creative, emotional grooves.
What's interesting about Woolford's approach is the breadth and scope of sounds that inform his work, from deep house and driving techno to lush ambient and thumping dubstep, all present and correct on his Platformmix-CD last year.
Support for Woolford in Room One from John Craig with Yello regular Dibby Dougherty at work in Room Two.
