Ho-hum

Ho-hum it's not likely to be - the Aspidistra club is running a "Humming Experiment Event" at Arthouse tonight, from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. "Hear", goes the press release, "the magical result of a dozen strangers gathered in a circle, spontaneously making music, linked to another group in the heartland of North America. Find yourself lost in this meditation at Aspidistra. Close your eyes, carry on humming with the others. Eventually, the humming stops, when laughter breaks out, or the telephone connection is broken. You'll be pleased and will want to tell other people, even strangers, about humming in groups!" Frankly, my laughter has broken out already, but if any stranger wants to tell me all about it tomorrow, let the humming continue on frontrow@irish-times.ie
