TOWN & Country auctioneers will be conducting a sale in the company's rooms on Dublin's Ormond Quay tomorrow, starting at 2 p.m., when a George III mahogany longcase clock is expected to make the top price of £1,600-£1,800.

A set of seven late 19th century brass inlaid dining chairs is estimated to fetch £1,300-£1,500, and a George III economy dining table £1,200-£1,400. Other items include a Victorian mahogany extension dining table (estimate £700-£900); a late 19th century mahogany serpentine card table (£700-£800); and a George IV military chest (£500-£600).
