YORKSHIRE Electricity plans to cut prices for its domestic customers by at least 4 per cent from August 1st after the recently announced reduction in the fossil fuel levy paid to the British nuclear power industry, the company announced yesterday. The news came with figures for the year to March 31st which showed pre-tax profits of £219.3 million sterling, including a one off gain of £20.1 million from the disposal of the group's interest in the National Grid Company.
