CORPORATE Travel Partners, the new company formed by the merger of the corporate divisions of Abbey Travel and Eugene Magee Travel, has said it plans to double turnover to £30 million within, five years.

The new joint venture company, which employs 40 people in Dublin, claims to handle 10 per cent of the Republic's corporate travel business,

This market share should grow to 16 per cent by the year 2900, according to the executive director of Corporate Travel Partners, Mr Eugene Magee.

The corporate travel sector in the Republic is worth an estimated £150 million a year, £100 million of which is accounted for by airline seats.
