Software company SAP has said it will provide high-potential Irish companies developing applications on SAP’s HANA computing platform with development and marketing support.
The programme – SAP Start-Up Focus – is part of the company’s efforts to engage with start-up companies in major innovation hubs around the world. It is supported by Enterprise Ireland.
Working with SAP’s venture capital division, the programme seeks to cultivate start-up companies delivering solutions using SAP HANA. In April, it announced a $155 million fund to spur development of applications.
Enterprise Ireland chief executive Frank Ryan said the programme was “a great opportunity for innovative Irish companies and entrepreneurs”.
