Connacht Gold is to create up to 30 jobs in an expansion of its business following growth in turnover and profits in 2010, the co-operative has announced, writes Laura Slattery.
The new jobs will mainly be located in the company’s retail division. The co-op, which has its headquarters in Tubbercurry, Co Sligo, reported a 13 per cent increase in turnover for last year, with the company taking in €300 million from its dairy, consumer foods and agribusiness divisions.
