Dunloe Ewart chairman Mr Noel Smyth received a remuneration package of #601,000 (£473,330) from the property company. Previously, Mr Smyth did not receive any remuneration from Dunloe other than a company car, but the remuneration committee took independent advice last year before recommending a remuneration package for Mr Smyth and his fellow directors. Mr Smyth received a basic salary of #305,000, a bonus of #152,000, pension benefits of #91,000 and benefits of #53,000. His package is the main reason for the rise in directors' remuneration last year from a total of #1.46 million to #1.87 million.
