PITY Adare Printing Group which is nursing the financial wounds inflicted by Microsoft which has decided not to buy any more printed computer manuals from subsidiary, Mount Salus Press. The Margin noted the reference to the lost contract with this week's preliminary figures which stated that at least 70 jobs will go at Mount Salus.

However, the accompanying glossy folder extolling Adare's prowess in all its business activities must have been printed before Microsoft dropped its bombshell. That folder boasted that the main customer of Mount Salus is Microsoft "a discerning, world class manufacturing company". The Margin wonders if Adare would be quite as gushing today.

One person, however, who must be extremely happy that he got Mount Salus off his hands is Mr Mark Kavanagh.
